Canon LaserShot LBP-1110SE

I recently noticed that my site was showing up for people who were looking for materials on the Canon LaserShot LBP-1110SE.  I’m not exactly sure what it is that people are looking for specifically about the Canon LaserShot LBP-1110SE, but I figure it probably has something to do with drivers.  If you are indeed looking for drivers, I’ve listed the information below.  If you’re looking to purchase a Canon LaserShot LBP-1110SE, I’m afraid you’re out of luck — the unit is no longer in production.  If you want one of these you’ll have to try your luck at an aution.

(FYI: the following links are in Japanese.)

You can find drivers for the printer at the Canon Support site.  For those too lazy to dig through and find the page for the Canon LaserShot LBP-1110SE, here is a direct link.  If you can’t read Japanese, don’t worry.  Just scroll down toward the bottom and you should find two links with the words HTTP and FTP.  Either of those links should work.

I should also probably mention that my site also comes up for searches under “NEC MultiReader 660U.” If anyone needs the driver for this scanner, I would be more than happy to post it up. Just drop me a comment to let me know.

Site Redesign, part 2

I wasn’t very happy with the last site re-design so I decided to take retrace my steps and start over from scratch.  While I can’t say that I’m 100% satisfied with things now, I can, at the very least, say that I am happier than before.

As you can see, I am no longer using TextPattern anymore.  I personally found the template editor somewhat clunky and difficult to use.  The WordPress templates just seem a little more familiar for me and I thought it would take less time to go from conception to reality using WordPress than TextPattern.  Other than that, TextPattern was an interesting option.  I may go back to it again at some point, but for now, WordPress it is.

I have implemented a number of styles that you can choose from.  If you look at the upper right-hand corner of the screen, you’ll see three circles of different colors.  Clicking on these will swap out the color schemes on the fly and will also change the main image.  I don’t have an image for the Red theme yet, but once I do, I’ll add it in.

Not much else to really add at the moment.  I would, however, like to say that my intentions are to update this blog a little more frequently.  Sometimes I find it difficult to find topics to write about since I tend to (read: try to) do all my blogging at SimCentral.NET, but I’ll see what I can do.
